About the role

  • Receive incident reports and service requests by phone, e‑mail, ticketing system or in person
  • Log requests in the ticketing system, prioritize them and document their processing
  • Diagnose and resolve standard issues on workstations, printers, mobile devices and the network
  • Support staff in the use of the hospital information system and other clinical applications
  • Assist with password issues and questions about access rights
  • Advise users about our IT services and applications
  • Escalate more complex requests to second‑level support or external service providers and track their resolution
  • Maintain the knowledge base and keep solution procedures up to date
  • Assist with IT asset management

Requirements

  • Successfully completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist/Fachinformatiker; IT systems sales specialist/IT‑Systemkaufmann) or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in IT support or a helpdesk role, ideally in healthcare
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and common Office applications
  • Basic understanding of networks, printers and mobile devices
  • Ability to explain technical assistance clearly and understandably
  • Ideally, experience with hospital information systems (HIS) and ticketing systems
  • Basic knowledge of IT security and data protection
  • Good command of German, both written and spoken
  • Personable, flexible and a team player
