About the role
- Receive incident reports and service requests by phone, e‑mail, ticketing system or in person
- Log requests in the ticketing system, prioritize them and document their processing
- Diagnose and resolve standard issues on workstations, printers, mobile devices and the network
- Support staff in the use of the hospital information system and other clinical applications
- Assist with password issues and questions about access rights
- Advise users about our IT services and applications
- Escalate more complex requests to second‑level support or external service providers and track their resolution
- Maintain the knowledge base and keep solution procedures up to date
- Assist with IT asset management
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist/Fachinformatiker; IT systems sales specialist/IT‑Systemkaufmann) or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in IT support or a helpdesk role, ideally in healthcare
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and common Office applications
- Basic understanding of networks, printers and mobile devices
- Ability to explain technical assistance clearly and understandably
- Ideally, experience with hospital information systems (HIS) and ticketing systems
- Basic knowledge of IT security and data protection
- Good command of German, both written and spoken
- Personable, flexible and a team player
