About the role
- Efficient management of the overall area encompassing all therapeutic teams and departments, ensuring compliance with and implementation of applicable external and internal requirements (payer regulations, service remuneration and charges, efficiency and quality targets)
- Overall responsibility for leading the therapy departments
- Implementation, evaluation and further development of therapy concepts
- Ensuring transparent and targeted communication within the therapy teams; serving as an information conduit between employees and supervisors/clinic management (both directions)
- Participation in financial planning (investment and personnel planning)
- Evaluation of therapy prescriptions and optimization of therapy utilization
- Concise reporting to clinic management
- Conducting appropriate and efficient personnel deployment planning, effective staff motivation and ensuring work allocation that corresponds to job requirements and employees' individual development levels
- Leading regular departmental and staff meetings (scheduling, organization, feedback, development)
- Continuous evaluation and further development of internal business processes, the possibilities for use and user behavior of application systems
Requirements
- Completed qualification or degree in a therapeutic profession
- Several years of practical experience in inpatient and outpatient patient care (physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy)
- In-depth expertise in KPI-driven planning and control of resources and processes
- Several years of leadership experience managing a therapeutic team
- Willingness to assume responsibility, commitment, and self-initiative
- Advanced knowledge of labor law (right of direction, working time regulations) and basic legal foundations
- Basic understanding of economic and financial contexts
