About the role

  • Strategic Leadership & Transformation
  • Define and own the roadmap for digital transformation initiatives, aligning with client business goals, brand objectives, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead change management efforts, securing buy-in from executive sponsors, medical affairs, commercial, and IT stakeholders
  • Establish success metrics (e.g., engagement rates, conversion lift, ROI) and ensure ongoing performance tracking and optimization
  • Omnichannel Campaign Design & Delivery
  • Architect integrated campaigns targeting HCPs, patients, payers, and advocacy groups, leveraging channels such as:
  • Personalized email and marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce)
  • Social and display advertising (LinkedIn, Facebook, programmatic DSPs)
  • Customized web portals, mobile apps, and patient support platforms
  • Virtual events, webinars, and digital kiosks
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution: creative briefs, channel selection, content development, media planning, QA, and post-launch analysis
  • Data & Analytics Strategy
  • Develop a healthcare data framework—incorporating CRM (Salesforce Health Cloud/Veeva), DMPs, analytics platforms (PowerBI, Google Analytics, Databricks)—to enable robust audience segmentation, attribution modeling, and real-time optimization
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered insights (predictive modeling, A/B testing, personalization engines) to refine targeting and maximize budget efficiency
  • Ensure data governance, security, and HIPAA/PHI compliance across all initiatives
  • Client & Partnership Management
  • Cultivate and expand strategic relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and med-device clients, serving as a trusted advisor and digital transformation partner
  • Manage external vendors and technology partners (e.g., CMS providers, ad tech vendors, AI platform integrators), negotiating SLAs, budgets, and deliverables
  • Present strategic roadmaps, quarterly business reviews, and performance reports to C-suite and cross-functional leadership
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Build, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary team of digital strategists, campaign managers, data analysts, UX designers, and technologists
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation (e.g., innovation labs, hackathons), and best-practice sharing
  • Define clear career paths, conduct performance reviews, and identify growth opportunities
  • Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement
  • Stay at the forefront of digital and life-science trends—AI in healthcare, omnichannel orchestration, patient-centric engagement—and translate them into actionable strategies
  • Represent Klick at industry conferences, advisory boards, and peer forums; publish white papers or case studies demonstrating our transformational impact
  • Monitor evolving regulatory guidelines (FDA, HIPAA, GDPR) and ensure all digital activities adhere to compliance standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare digital transformation, commercial strategy, or management consulting
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale omnichannel campaigns for pharmaceutical or biotech clients, with demonstrable KPI improvements (e.g., increased patient starts, improved HCP engagement, cost per acquisition reductions)
  • Deep understanding of the life-sciences commercial process—from market access and payer negotiations to field force enablement and post-launch support
  • Expertise in healthcare data strategy, martech stacks (CRM, DMP, MAP), and analytics tools; hands-on experience with platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce Health Cloud, Marketo, or similar
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, present complex analyses clearly, and drive consensus across global teams
  • Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for multimillion-dollar programs
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization, juggling multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Familiarity with industry regulations governing digital marketing in healthcare (e.g., FDA promotion regulations, HIPAA privacy rules)
