About the role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines, with a particular emphasis on streaming data.
- Leverage modern technologies, including tools like Rising Wave, Kafka, Mage ai, Spark, and Redshift, to ensure the seamless processing of data in batch and real-time.
- Design, build, and maintain streaming and batch data pipelines, incorporating best practices for reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Optimize and maintain the data pipelines and data platform infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or analytical field (e.g., Computational, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Physics, etc.)
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, focusing on building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficient in Python
- Proficient in Git
- Cloud Experience (AWS is a bonus)
- Advanced English level
- Passionate about learning new tools and technologies, and can quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Desirable: Experience in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience working with Kubernetes
- The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with tools related to streaming data and real-time data processing, such as Apache Flink or similar technologies.
- This includes designing and implementing solutions that can handle data in real time, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of streaming data pipelines.
- Bonus: Has worked with DBT, Rising Wave, Kafka, and Kubernetes
- Bonus: Knowledge of Amazon Redshift and experience optimizing its performance.
- Bonus: Prior experience with data orchestration tools.
