About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and Optimize Data Pipelines
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using dbt, Amazon Redshift, and orchestration tools such as MageAI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business logic into reliable and efficient data models
  • Design and Maintain Data Models
  • Support the design and optimization of data models focused on analytics, reporting, and credit-related use cases, ensuring scalability, consistency, and performance
  • Ensure Data Quality and Reliability
  • Maintain high data integrity through validation processes, monitoring, testing, and regular audits across datasets and pipelines
  • Automate and Improve Processes
  • Contribute to process automation and infrastructure improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual work within the data platform
  • Generate Insights and Enable Decision-Making
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver analytical datasets and reporting that support strategic decision-making within the Credit team
  • Collaborate and Grow Through Best Practices
  • Work closely with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business stakeholders while continuously improving coding standards, documentation, and data modeling practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related analytical field
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL
  • Experience working with complex queries and large-scale datasets
  • 2+ years of experience with Python
  • Experience building or maintaining data pipelines and data models
  • Familiarity with dbt, Amazon Redshift, and orchestration tools such as MageAI is a strong plus
  • Advanced English level
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proactive mindset with interest in growing into a Senior Analytics Engineer role in the short-to-mid term
