About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the corporate control of the group’s entities (corporate books, powers of attorney, notices, minutes, corporate structure, etc.).
  • Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on:
  • Shareholders’ meetings
  • Board of Directors meetings
  • Unanimous resolutions adopted outside of meetings
  • Committee and internal governance body minutes
  • Manage the corporate and regulatory calendar (shareholders’ meetings, board sessions, committees, recurring obligations, etc.).
  • Draft and review corporate documentation (notices, minutes, resolutions, powers of attorney, certifications, etc.).
  • Manage and monitor litigation matters, including:
  • Status tracking of each case (filed and received claims/lawsuits)
  • Deadlines and procedural calendars
  • Coordination with external law firms
  • Support compliance with regulatory obligations before authorities such as the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), Bank of Mexico (BANXICO), and National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF).
  • Coordinate with notaries, external counsel, and internal teams.
  • Support in-person legal and regulatory procedures, including filings, court follow-ups, and interactions with authorities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law.
  • 2+ years of experience in:
  • Corporate governance / corporate law
  • Law firm, notary office, or in-house legal roles (experience with regulated entities is a plus)
  • Advanced English level
  • Strong legal drafting skills and clear communication abilities (written and verbal).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsible.
  • Interest and comfort in using AI tools to improve efficiency, organization, and day-to-day legal work.
  • Experience working with regulated financial entities.
  • Experience preparing corporate minutes and managing corporate books.
  • Experience filing legal documents before courts or regulatory authorities.
  • Experience managing or tracking litigation matters.
