About the role
- Participation and conduction of audit fieldwork, through test execution as well as production of the final report together with the team
- Present and jointly analyze audit reports with the areas involved
- Lead audits according to the annual program, as well as for needs that may arise
- Develop, implement, and optimize data visualization and analysis tools to strengthen audit processes
- Identification of issues and discussion with relevant stakeholders
- Follow-up actions plans to ensure their correct implementation
- Participate in continuous risk assessments and preparation the annual audit plan
- You will be interacting with stakeholders from the first and second line of defense
- You will also act as a knowledge multiplier, sharing your experience and training with other auditors to elevate the team´s technical skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry
- Knowledge of financial market regulations, including Mexican Banking and SOFIPO regulations, GRC frameworks, and issue management
- Thorough understanding of banking processes, internal audit, and internal controls
- Data analysis knowledge of tools such as Python or similar
- Strong analytical background
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Softskills: Hands-on and willing to get hands dirty on execution
- Organized
- Decision-making based on risk mitigation
- Great team player, communication and listening skills

- Strong prioritization and organization skills
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
