About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Directs and coordinates activities of operational production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products.
Design, coordinate, & directs activities of the plant towards exceeding of established goals.
Review and analyze various reports and evaluate all production personnel.
Establish and enforce all safety measures and ensure compliance.
Ensure all production goals are met and coordinate production activities accordingly.
Confer with customers and representatives of associated industries to enhance services.
Develop plans for efficient use of materials and personnel.
Review production costs and product quality to maintain profitable operations
Manage the overall functionality of all plant production equipment
Initiate employee development for success

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-10 years of management / supervisory experience in manufacturing environment
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in plastics manufacturing with operational focus on extrusion, slitting, and calender line operations
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or similar
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Position requires fluency in English
