About the role
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients
- Develop and implement account strategies to meet sales targets
- Lead negotiations on trade terms and pricing
- Analyse market trends and customer insights
- Manage customer budgets and provide sales forecasts
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on client expectations
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance
- Handle customer concerns to ensure satisfaction
- Present new products and relay market demand to internal teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally within the packaging or FMCG sector
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and advanced MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insight into actionable commercial plans.
