About the role
- Contribute to industrial design for consumer hardware products, primarily the smart ring
- Develop form, structure, and detailed design solutions
- Work closely with hardware engineers to balance aesthetics, structure, and manufacturability
- Support CMF (color, material, finish) exploration and decisions
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and constraints
- Deliver production-ready design outputs (CAD, renders, manufacturing guidance)
- Communicate with factories or suppliers when needed to validate designs
Requirements
- Background in industrial design or a related field
- Experience designing consumer electronics or small hardware products
- Understanding of structure, materials, and basic manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently and iterate quickly
- Comfortable working as a freelance or project-based contributor
