About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the monitoring of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, database systems, and containerized platforms.
  • Perform daily operational checks according to established procedures and checklists.
  • Assist with ticket management, incident reporting, and operational requests.
  • Collect technical evidence, logs, and diagnostic information for troubleshooting activities.
  • Support backup operations, job verification, and post-maintenance checks.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, operational procedures, and reports.
  • Work alongside senior engineers on incident management, change management, and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Gradually participate in projects involving Oracle technologies, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Exadata, networking, monitoring, containers, Kubernetes, and automation.
  • Support DevOps activities, scripting, and infrastructure configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical diploma, preferably in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP, DNS, ports, routing, and firewalls.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and IT infrastructure concepts.
  • Strong interest in cloud technologies, databases, cybersecurity, containers, Kubernetes, automation, and infrastructure management.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow operational procedures.
