About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Find, diagnose, and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites
Undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts
Work with small pallet trucks, IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Hydraulics
NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential
IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
Must hold a full UK driving licence
Good communication skills to liaise with our customers and your internal colleagues
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
A positive and can-do attitude
Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role
A desire to be a Linde brand ambassador

On call - £150 standby payment. £75 per call out plus overtime. If called out after 2200 hrs, take time off the following morning. Bank holidays are double time plus 1 days TOIL
