About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and Support Global HR Projects: Drive and actively participate in a variety of projects across the global HR organization, including the ones from the People Services Roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.
- Plan and Manage Project Resources: Define project scope, resource requirements, budget, and timelines; monitor progress to ensure efficient utilization and adherence to plans.
- Maintain Comprehensive Project Documentation: Develop, update, and manage project documentation, including work plans, status reports, and governance materials, to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR teams and other stakeholders to ensure all project participants meet requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Establish and Execute Communication Plans: Design and implement effective communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive Change Management and Training: Evaluate and coordinate change management activities, including training and adoption plans, to support successful implementation of initiatives.
- Conduct Post-Implementation Reviews: Perform project evaluations to identify successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement; apply lessons learned to future initiatives.
- Champion Continuous Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and implement process enhancements within HR, leveraging data and best practices to optimize efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in HR project management (preferably in HR areas) and/or HR Operations.
- Proven track record in managing global or cross-functional projects.
- Proven work experience in process engineering, process mapping, and delivering measurable process improvements.
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Process improvement methodologies certification (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, process visualization software (e.g., Visio) and MS Office Suite.
- Understanding of HR systems (especially Workday), processes, and procedures.
- Ability to influence without direct authority across a global, matrixed environment.
- Analytical mindset with ability to proactively identify, implement and document process improvements.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and flexibility to re-prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across regions and cultures.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Understanding of global employment and data privacy considerations.
