About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the strategic development, reliable operation and continuous optimization of all end-user workplace services across the company
Lead an international workplace team (Intune/SCCM admins, AVD specialists and EPM engineers)
Promote team motivation, performance, professional development and knowledge sharing
Plan resources and capacity for projects, operations and escalations
Ensure ITIL-compliant processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
End-to-end responsibility for workplace services such as: Endpoint Management (Intune, SCCM/ConfigMgr)
Client engineering & image management
Software deployment & patch management
Endpoint privileged access management
Client virtualization in Azure
User experience monitoring
Ensure stability, performance, security and compliance
Define and implement the workplace strategy including cloud transformation
Operate modern workplace concepts (e.g., Zero Trust, tiering, endpoint security)
Standardize and automate operational processes
Work closely with Cyber Security / IAM / Architecture / Networking, regional IT teams and on-site support
Regular reporting to senior management on KPIs, risks, progress and budget
Manage critical incidents and escalations
Responsible for workplace-related contracts and licensing costs
Manage external partners and service providers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in a leadership role within workplace/endpoint management
Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Azure AD (Entra ID)
Experience with Intune, SCCM and software deployment
Windows client management expertise
IT security knowledge (Zero Trust, Conditional Access, hardening)
Experience with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM tools
Experience in global enterprise environments (advantageous: environments with more than 10,000 users)
Business-fluent German and English
