About the role
- Manage and lead a team of Field and Site-based Service Technicians to achieve business goals
- Enhance Key/National Account customer experience by meeting and exceeding agreed KPIs
- Manage budget requirements to ensure service targets are achieved
- Conduct regular team and individual meetings, including toolbox talks, to foster development and monitor performance and KPIs
- Participate in sales, service, and rental meetings to address and resolve service-related issues
- Visit key account customers on a regular call cycle to maintain service presence and present customer reports on fleet and service performance
- Contribute meaningfully to customer interactions to build strong customer relationships
Requirements
- Previous service and fleet management experience within a similar industry
- Trade certificate and/or Management certificate preferred
- General product knowledge of material handling equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and support a team of technicians
- Commercial understanding of general business concepts within a service industry, including P&L and budgets
- Proficient with Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & Outlook)
