About the role
- Oversee projects of significant magnitude (complexity, cost, time-constraints, staffing, equipment)
- Provide direction to project teams, assign responsibilities, tasks and technical functions
- Manage projects within scope, schedule, and budget (triple constraints)
- Identify and manage project risks with actionable mitigation strategies
- Analyze project profitability forecasts, ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Provide Project Management practices and solution development leadership to pre-sales efforts
- Develop detailed project schedules and validate out-of-scope milestones by others
- Apply systems engineering principles; develop and validate customer business case
- Develop proposals, estimates, and high-level schedules
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in material handling industry
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Strong Project Management background
- Team leadership and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Projects
- Knowledge of constraints and methods for defining and demonstrating equipment, subsystem, and system performance criteria
- Ability to develop detailed project schedules inclusive of engineering, installation, and integration activities
- Apply systems engineering principles in project execution and pre-sales solution development
