About the role
- Learn how to service and repair forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
- Receive specific hands-on experience while studying for a nationally recognised qualification
- Apply learning from college and demonstrate this knowledge to mentors and assessors
- Commit to a three-year training and development programme
- Inspect, maintain, service and repair all types of material handling equipment
- Attend all required training courses (internal & external)
- Pass all knowledge block training tests at college
- Complete e-Portfolio on time and to expected standards
Requirements
- Ideally you would need to have a GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English (predicted grades if undertaking GCSE’s)
- Need to have an interest in engineering and technology
- Advantageous to have a Full UK Driver's Licence
