About the role
- Participate in the design of complex systems that integrate mechanical hardware, controls components, and software
- Provides support in complex material specification, and preparation of engineering sketches, manufacture equipment, and layout drawings, with appropriate follow-up
- Participate in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction
- Create & check layouts, detailed drawings, Bills of Materials for compliance to engineering standards, safety requirements and customer specifications
- Work with team members and customer to solve problems and troubleshoot equipment on-site
- Perform site audits to collect project and solution information as required
- Support on-site installation and engineering commissioning efforts as required
Requirements
- BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field of engineering
- 2+ years of industry related experience or mechanical engineering preferred
- Proficient in Cad design software; AutoCAD or similar system
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel, TEAMS
