About the role
- Understanding and capabilities in Supply Chain Management
- Responsible for the procurement processes of the commodity groups assigned to you for the Offenbach plant
- You lead and support exciting international projects aimed at cost reduction, efficiency improvements and process optimization
- You independently analyze challenges, develop concepts and implement projects in strategic sourcing for direct materials
- You work closely with cross-functional teams worldwide and coordinate joint projects
- Continuously optimize existing processes and systems with a clear awareness of corporate policies
- Consolidation of the requirements of affiliated service providers
- Market and price analyses to identify optimal purchasing strategies
- Development and implementation of international sourcing strategies together with category management
- Strategic procurement activities such as supplier management, risk management, conducting supplier meetings, running tenders and price negotiations, evaluating them, and concluding framework agreements
- Maintaining and expanding manufacturer and supplier relationships
Requirements
- Degree or commercial vocational training (e.g., specialist buyer in purchasing and materials management)
- Fluent German and English
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Understanding and capabilities in Supply Chain Management
