About the role
- Conduct thorough internal investigations of reported complaints, policy violations, and incidents in a neutral and respectful manner
- Provide recommendations based on investigation findings and consult HR leadership on next steps
- Document investigations thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Consult and provide guidance to HR business partners and generalists in lower risk complaints to enhance knowledge and capabilities
- Manage investigation tracking method and report on trends
- Identify, design, and provide education opportunities for People Managers and HR Community on key topics and trends in Employee Relations
Requirements
- 5+ years of Employee Relations work experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Able to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Demonstrates ability to develop thorough, complete reports with expediency
- Demonstrates empathy, neutrality, and good judgment
- Demonstrates an acute attention to detail and highly organized behaviors
- Able to create a calm atmosphere and de-escalate emotionally charged situations
- Able to influence peers and leadership for the best results possible
