About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Safely operate High Reach and Counterbalance forklifts throughout the warehouse
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently while maintaining product integrity
  • Supply production lines with raw materials to support uninterrupted manufacturing
  • Put away finished goods and replenish warehouse locations accurately
  • Complete inventory transactions using SAP and RF scanners
  • Accurately complete warehouse documentation and stock movement records
  • Conduct pre-start forklift safety inspections and report equipment issues promptly
  • Perform stock rotation and inventory movements in accordance with FIFO requirements
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, GMP and housekeeping
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse, production and logistics teams to achieve daily operational targets
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency and warehouse performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Australian LF Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Experience operating High Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts
  • Previous experience within an FMCG, food manufacturing, warehouse or distribution environment
  • Experience using SAP, Warehouse Management Systems or similar inventory systems
  • Experience using RF scanners for inventory and stock control
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
  • Understanding of GMP, HACCP and food safety standards is highly regarded
  • Ability to accurately complete warehouse documentation and follow written work instructions
  • Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Reliable, safety-focused and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical capability to perform manual handling throughout the shift
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
