About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Safely operate High Reach and Counterbalance forklifts throughout the warehouse
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently while maintaining product integrity
Supply production lines with raw materials to support uninterrupted manufacturing
Put away finished goods and replenish warehouse locations accurately
Complete inventory transactions using SAP and RF scanners
Accurately complete warehouse documentation and stock movement records
Conduct pre-start forklift safety inspections and report equipment issues promptly
Perform stock rotation and inventory movements in accordance with FIFO requirements
Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, GMP and housekeeping
Work collaboratively with warehouse, production and logistics teams to achieve daily operational targets
Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency and warehouse performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current Australian LF Forklift Licence (essential)
Experience operating High Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts
Previous experience within an FMCG, food manufacturing, warehouse or distribution environment
Experience using SAP, Warehouse Management Systems or similar inventory systems
Experience using RF scanners for inventory and stock control
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Understanding of GMP, HACCP and food safety standards is highly regarded
Ability to accurately complete warehouse documentation and follow written work instructions
Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
Reliable, safety-focused and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
Physical capability to perform manual handling throughout the shift
A continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
