Sales Manager
Kingspan Insulated Panels Germany, Austria & SwitzerlandSales Manager focusing on selling insulated panels in the Frankfurt Area for Kingspan. Building customer relationships and driving sales growth with a strong market presence.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Increase sales of insulated panels in the assigned region
- Identify and win new customers, projects and opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and pricing within company guidelines
- Prepare quotations and ensure correct payment terms
- Conduct competitor and market analyses and recommend actions
- Launch and promote new insulated panel products
- Build strong relationships with architects, investors, developers and contractors
- Maintain regular customer contact and expand the customer portfolio
- Track sales results, update the CRM and prepare reports
- Assist with complaint handling and propose fair resolutions
- Coordinate with accounting and office staff on payments and inventory
- Gather customer feedback and suggest improvements
- Comply with company policies and compliance standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture or a related field
- Relevant proven experience in a sales role within the construction/facade/insulation sector
- 3–5 years of sales experience in the construction industry, preferably with insulation materials or façade systems
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new projects and closing B2B sales
- Strong customer focus and active listening skills
- Advanced negotiation and presentation skills (for architects, investors and decision makers)
- Market knowledge in façades, insulation and industrial/commercial construction projects
- Ability to manage contracts, claims and complex commercial processes
- Analytical thinking and time management
- Resilience under pressure and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Cultural sensitivity and strong communication skills
- Solid knowledge of commercial law and business regulations
- Familiarity with competitors and products in the insulation and façade markets
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, CRM, SAP, FABS)
- English – advanced (C1)
- German – fluent
