Electrical Engineer

• Design of electrical power, lighting, life safety and security systems for commercial and K-12 educational buildings
• Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams and specifications
• Ensure designs comply with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations
• Manage electrical engineering projects from concept through completion
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and expertise in the selection of electrical power and lighting systems, life safety systems and security systems and components
• Conduct detailed site inspections and assessments to ensure design feasibility and compliance
• Perform load calculations, lighting calculations, short-circuit analysis, arc flash hazard and other engineering calculations as needed
• Support review of quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs
• Interface with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions
