About the role

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch, for your specific product, feature or workflow, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Define requirements, create user stories, and collaborate with engineering teams to execute product development initiatives.
  • Communicate product strategies, roadmap priorities, and progress effectively to ensure alignment and support across the organization for your product area.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software development, marketing, and sales to prioritize features and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a high-level roadmap prioritizing features and initiatives based on business objectives, customer feedback, and market analysis.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the roadmap to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and market trends.
  • Lead in understanding customer needs and gathering feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify market opportunities, trends, and challenges. Use insights to inform product decisions, prioritize initiatives, and drive product innovation.
  • Define product positioning and messaging to differentiate it in the market and work with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional plans.
  • Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, optimize product performance, and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in product management in a SaaS company.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record building data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Proven track record building complex reporting and dashboard products.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Deep understanding of product management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience in Non Profit, Healthcare, or Higher Education is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
