About the role
- Handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, and text to understand customer needs and recommend tailored homeowners insurance solutions
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals by building strong relationships and applying effective sales techniques
- Clearly communicate benefits of insurance offerings, address customer questions, and deliver exceptional service through the process
- Leverage company-provided leads and follow up to move customers through the sales funnel toward a successful close
- Partner with underwriters and customer service representatives to ensure a smooth experience from initial inquiry through policy issuance
- Simplify complex insurance jargon and educate customers on coverage options to protect their homes
- Participate in mandatory paid training and adhere to assigned shifts and scheduling requirements
- Engage in incentive programs and bonuses to maximize earnings potential
Requirements
- At least 6 months of P&C insurance experience in a fast-paced sales environment
- Homeowners and call center experience are a plus
- Prior sales experience considered (insurance or other industries) if license and CE maintained
- Active P&C licensure within your current state of residence
- Outstanding communicator with a natural ability to build relationships and gain trust
- Proven track record as a closer, with strong negotiation skills and history of exceeding sales targets
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented focus and passion for hitting sales goals
- Ability to adhere to metrics, schedules, and training protocols while juggling multiple priorities
- Proficiency in CRM systems and telephone software; ability to efficiently use multiple platforms simultaneously
- Bonus points: Licensed in California and/or Surplus Lines License
- Must be available Monday–Friday for assigned shifts (9:00 AM–6:00 PM CST or 11:00 AM–8:00 PM CST)
- Rotating Saturday shift required every 4–6 weeks
- Mandatory paid 8+ week training period
- Must be able to live and work full-time in one of the listed eligible U.S. states
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (application requests confirmation of work authorization and sponsorship needs)
