Requirements
Required: PhD degree in Biology, Molecular Cell Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a major Biological Science related field from an accredited college or university with 3+ years of relevant industry experience in skin health research.
Conversely, an MS degree in a related field with 6+ years of relevant industry experience or a BS degree with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
A proven track record of successfully conducting and leading technical aspects of innovative life science research projects.
Expert level knowledge of cell and tissue research techniques: Cell culture techniques, in vitro tissue constructs, ex vivo models, nucleic acid isolation, (qRT-PCR), development of genomic constructs, flow cytometry, signal transduction mechanisms, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and data analytics.
Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing innovative methodologies, achieving protocol standardization, and conducting rigorous data analysis to produce reliable results.
Experience conducting in-vivo research for developing fundamental information and the evaluation of innovative technologies.
A demonstrated ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to leverage diversity and function as a mentor for junior scientists, acting as a role model in the application of the scientific method to solve problems of importance for Kimberly-Clark.
Demonstrated track record of documenting results and protecting inventions through patent filings and other forms of intellectual property.
Demonstrated continuous personal improvement in scientific and leadership skills through staying current with relevant technical literature, attending classes, conferences, industry consortiums, university forums, and other forms of scientific and leadership growth.
Excellent written and oral communications skills. Able to effectively communicate complex technical information to a diverse audience including team members, cross-functional teams, business and marketing leaders.
