Develop and implement comprehensive corporate affairs and communication strategies that align with global objectives and regional priorities
Build and maintain relationships with government officials, industry associations, media, and community leaders
Lead media relations efforts including preparation of press releases, speeches, and communication materials
Develop and implement crisis management plans to address potential reputation issues
Monitor regulatory developments and advocate for policies that support the company's business goals; provide strategic advice on regulatory issues
Represent the company in industry forums, policy discussions, and public affairs initiatives
Oversee CSR programs and initiatives that reflect company values and contribute to the community
Ensure effective internal communication regarding corporate affairs, policy matters, and strategic initiatives; foster a culture of transparency and engagement
Travel within the ANZ region may be required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate affairs, public relations, or communications, with a significant portion of that experience in the ANZ region
Proven history of strategic leadership and stakeholder management
Deep understanding of the ANZ region's regulatory environment and business landscape
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
Experience in crisis management and reputation management
Ability to lead and inspire a team
