About the role

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with KC Professional goals and drives business growth.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Data Analytics, AI/ML, and cloud technologies, and implement them to enhance the KC Professional capabilities.
  • Lead initiatives within the Snowflake environment and other advanced data platforms, collaborating closely with Product Managers and stakeholders.
  • Manage the Data and Analytics product backlog with precision.
  • Develop and maintain release plans for data and analytics enhancements, incorporating financial costs and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Engage continuously with the Scrum team and subject matter experts to refine backlog items.
  • Define clear priorities and sprint goals, focused on crucial data and analytics projects.
  • Evaluate and maintain the integrity of all deliverables within the Snowflake environment.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the Data and Analytics team.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in tailoring, configuring, and crafting solutions within the Snowflake environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting solutions within the Snowflake ecosystem, adhering to best practices in data architecture and design patterns.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Snowflake's security model, including role-based access control, data encryption at rest and in transit.
  • Proven expertise in architecting and implementing Snowflake solutions that are highly scalable and resilient.
  • Strong track record in leveraging Snowflake’s cloud-based architecture to develop scalable and highly available services.
  • Profound familiarity with Agile methodologies in the context of Data and Analytics development projects.
  • Team Leadership: 7+ years of experience leading large, remote, global IT teams, with 5+ years focused on development lifecycle leadership.
  • Ability to tackle complex data-related challenges with strategic foresight and analytical precision.
  • Ability to engage in rapid prototype development using iterative techniques.
  • Ability to guide teams in transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights through compelling visual narratives.
  • Direct experience managing relationships with outsourcing and consulting partners.
  • Expertise in leveraging AI and ML for predictive analytics, automating processes, and enhancing decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of cloud solutions and architectures, enabling scalable, flexible, and resilient digital infrastructures.
