Work closely with business partners, analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate global security access requirements into design and configuration
Responsible for the proper maintenance and design of access controls to protect sensitive employee records
Facilitate the access needed for efficient and effective job performance
Provide consultation and recommendations to HRIT functional and integration teams, HR business teams, etc.
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all aspects related to Workday security and own the related design, processes, and audits
Design, implement, and manage ongoing security structure & processes
Define automated role assignment process
Serve as POC and team lead for managed services security support team
Administer access to tenants during testing
Document solutions to facilitate long-term operational support
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as Workday Security Administrator required, with Workday security as the primary component of the job
Detail-oriented – Must be thorough and precise and audit regularly
Strong communication skills to explain security and technical concerns to non-technical, business stakeholders
Must have a proven record of handling, maintaining, and securing highly sensitive employee information
Experience working within a complex, global organization preferred
Must have a strong understanding of system release management
Experience in advanced Workday report writing and the build of complex calculated fields preferred
