About the role
- Assist in various challenging, high-profile projects in corporate governance and sustainability reporting
- Assist the legal department on corporate governance matters
- Develop legal templates and contract playbooks
- Research M&A and asset acquisition transactions
- Conduct in-depth profiling and due diligence
Requirements
- Must be a graduate student pursuing a JD or LLM or a dual law degree (environmental a plus)
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
- Strong collaboration, coordination and facilitation skills
- 1-2 years of experience in engineering, environmental law, or a compliance department a strong plus
- Fluency in a language in addition to English is a strong plus
- Proficient with technology and Microsoft Office applications
