About the role

  • Responsible for implementing and managing material costs at the plant.
  • Work with Global Purchasing Team to supply timely information and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Report on Material Pricing measures, including PPV and commodity quote tracking progress.
  • Collaborate with accounting to determine material costs for re-quoting.
  • Assist plant Purchasing Team with sourcing as needed.
  • Participate in Supplier Business Reviews by providing supplier feedback.

Requirements

  • Contract electronics manufacturing experience
  • Excellent MS Excel skills (includes vlookup and pivot tables)
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret customer RFQ documentation
  • Knowledge of production flow
  • Ability to learn and use Quotewin
  • Understanding of MRP system
