Perform technical analysis associated with the assigned task area for problems with specific objectives and requiring investigation of a limited number of variables
Make recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements
Perform duties under supervision of senior engineer(s)
Follow, perform, and record the results of the execution of a test plan
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
2+ years of professional experience in the required task area
Experience with Agile, CMMI\TSP\PSP, AS9100, or other process model for software development
Knowledge reading and creating schematics and requirements documents
Familiarization with software configuration management\defect tracking tools and peer reviews
Knowledge of computing systems and software structure
Experience creating flowcharts, diagrams, and other documentation in IBM DOORs or Microsoft Office
Experience with DoDAF and modeling/simulation (e.g., CORE, Genesys, Azure, Jira, Confluence, etc.) would be helpful
Knowledge of formal test planning, procedures, execution, and reporting would be helpful
Military aircraft experience preferred
Must be a US citizen
Active DoD issued security clearance at level Secret or higher required
Eligibility for Top Secret security clearance required
Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
Must be able to perform business travel; Travel may involve multiple days/weeks
