About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Driving membership sales through high-volume outbound phone calls on inbound leads.
  • Provides excellent leadership and management to create a positive, successful environment for clients.
  • Properly manages and exceeds all KidStrong sales and operational budgets.
  • Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems.
  • Works closely with the Center's Area Developer (owner) and Assistance General Manager to ensure that leads and future members are looked after during center visits.
  • Builds and maintains KidStrong class size through scheduling optimization.
  • Models all Center activities through self-involvement (leading by example).
  • If applicable, trains and mentors subordinates for ongoing success and future growth.
  • Communicate with staff for all trials and anything they need to know about the members.
  • Timely response and follow through with all owner requests and client and lead requests.
  • Enforces KidStrong corporate and Center policies, business practices, systems and processes.
  • Ensures that telephone inquiries (general and sales related), guest registration,, credit and debit card handling, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, and change requests are handled appropriately.
  • Provides and maintains the highest level of customer service.
  • Provides effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
  • Effectively overcomes objections to membership enrollment.
  • Meets weekly and as needed with owner to discuss sales performance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior experience in outbound phone sales (300+ calls/week is a typical outbound phone sales effort)
  • Strong sales mentality and comfortability with outbound sales efforts
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field preferred
  • Must have the ability to work weekday evenings and weekend afternoons
  • Be promotional-oriented and have the ability to schedule trials with a thorough vetting process
  • Understanding of all performance metrics (KPIs), revenue, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively work at home under little supervision
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  • Practical work experience using Microsoft Office products as well as G-Suite
  • Fitness, retail, insurance or auto sales, and/or hospitality industry experience preferred.
