About the role
- The Treasury Analyst is responsible for reviewing funding and construction holdback draw wires, and for ensuring that the data reflected in the system aligns with the loan documentation.
- Process high volume bank transactions with accuracy.
- Disburse payments from the service holding account to investors’ FBO accounts and perform reconciliation of these transactions.
- Assist with monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Prepare and reconcile reports reflecting daily liquidity and warehouse line capacity balances.
- Manage tax payment requests including reconciling the tax advance on the loan, correcting any inaccuracies and sending funds to the correct beneficiary.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues in collaboration with internal partners, ensuring prompt resolution of operational challenges as they occur.
- Assist with various ad hoc tasks that the Treasury team handles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree. Finance/Math/Accounting preferred
- 0-3 years of a finance, accounting, or other applied math field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Positive attitude and a great team player
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines throughout the day
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Excel preferred
- Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus
