About the role
- Lead end-to-end purchasing processes for Direct procurement categories (Sauces & Seasonings, Packaging, Bread, Produce, Grocery), from demand identification through contracting
- Execute quotations, comparative analyses and supplier negotiations. Assess cost impacts and propose structured cost-reduction alternatives
- Monitor price fluctuations and market trends
- Identify new suppliers, conduct market research and map competitive alternatives
- Conduct supplier approval processes, including document review, risk assessment and compliance
- Monitor supplier performance indicators (quality, delivery, cost)
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law) and contractual clauses
- Record processes in the system, ensuring traceability and transparency
- Interact with internal departments (Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply, Legal)
- Participate in new product projects, capacity expansion or process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics or related fields
- Previous experience in Purchasing, preferably in food companies, retail or fast-food
- Analytical mindset and an ownership attitude toward the categories
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle or similar)
- Strong analytical skills and systems thinking
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
