People Advisor

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the implementation of Workday modules and the continued development of the Electronic Document Management System.
- Handle routine tasks, ensure compliance, manage employee inquiries, and facilitate people processes such as onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Provide responsive and standardised people services to enable the people function to support day-to-day operations effectively.
- Maintain regular updates and data cleanses in Workday.
- Prepare reports and analyze information to identify trends and areas of improvement.
- Manage queries through Workday case management system within agreed service levels.
- Support with changes to Workday's Electronic Document Management System and create necessary documents.
- Encourage the use of self-service tools and portal by all employees and managers.
- Provide administration support for onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and personnel processes as needed.
- Collate HR Policies and templates in line with legislative changes.
- Support staff recruitment processes, prepare contracts, update relevant systems, and manage employee relations matters.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in related discipline or CIPD is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years of work experience in a Human Resources role.
- Experience with Workday manager, employee self service and case management tools is essential.
- Computer literate, proficient in Google and Excel, with experience of tools that ensure that enable digital transformation of the function.
- Committed to personal learning and self-improvement, including continuous professional development.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organisation.
- Capable of multi-tasking and being flexible, organised and able to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high activity environment, on a wide variety of matters and able to handle the requirement to quickly shift from one situation or task to another.
- Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Accountability and dependability with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage but not required).
