About the role
- Lead and manage corporate and customer led IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Collaborate remotely with stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage issues, and handle scope changes.
- Facilitate virtual meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
- Promote best practices in remote project management and contribute to PMO process improvements.
- Create structure and artifacts, collaborating with team members, if needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- 5 – 10 years of IT project management experience.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations.
- Demonstrated success managing remote teams and projects.
- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law.
