About the role

  • Lead and manage corporate and customer led IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate remotely with stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage issues, and handle scope changes.
  • Facilitate virtual meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Promote best practices in remote project management and contribute to PMO process improvements.
  • Create structure and artifacts, collaborating with team members, if needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • 5 – 10 years of IT project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations.
  • Demonstrated success managing remote teams and projects.
  • Proficiency in remote collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet).
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law.
