About the role
- Support technical leaders during requirements gathering and design phases; take notes and develop relevant questions
- Configure and deploy Anaplan solutions to meet client needs and deliver on time and within budget
- Contribute to configuration of EPM software and assist with system testing
- Resolve and articulate technical issues via debugging, research, and investigation; assist with production support
- Assist with configuration reviews and implement feedback from project team and leadership
- Maintain client focus and ownership of assigned tasks; meet deadlines and project milestones
- Convey understanding of the business rationale behind requirements
- Understand project role and meet project priorities, scope, timeline, and goals
- Create and maintain documentation for EPM solutions including user guides and technical specifications
- Assist in development and delivery of end-user training and training materials
- Deliver demonstrations to audiences from executives to business users
- Stay up to date with Anaplan platform releases, feature updates, and industry best practices
- Maintain effective working relationships with team members and engage with clients appropriately
- Provide ongoing client support addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues to ensure effective use of EPM systems
Requirements
- Background in business, financial, multi-dimensional modeling, data analytics, business intelligence, or consulting
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‐solving skills
- Proven experience working with Anaplan, including design, implementation, and optimization of Anaplan models
- Associated Anaplan certifications (required/recommended)
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Management and Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs
- Strong Microsoft Excel abilities
- Fluent in English
- Desired: Interest/willingness to work on global teams and with international clients
- Desired: Experience with Performance Management technologies (IBM TM1/PA, Oracle Hyperion, SAP SAC, Tagetik, Board, Pigment, OneStream)
- Desired: Prior experience in business functions – finance, sales, or operations
- Desired: Knowledge of data integration tools (Informatica, SnapLogic, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI))
- Desired: Working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL variants (SQL, ANSI SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL, PartiQL, SAS)
- Desired: Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
