About the role

  • Formulate and develop implementation strategy for identification of business requirements, process design and sustainable solutions for clients
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge for software implementations including field-to-field data mapping, conversion validation, system and security configuration, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Identify gaps in requirements, testing, or communication issues in client delivery
  • Provide technical instruction by mentoring team members and improving delivery of optimal solutions
  • Serve as the software subject matter expert throughout the implementation life cycle
  • Translate business processes and requirements into technical requirements, solution design, and system configurations
  • Assist with determining priorities, scope, timeline, goals, and key milestones for projects
  • Communicate well at all levels – managerial, technical and user
  • Deliver Anaplan and other front-end to back-end solutions for complex problems across industries

Requirements

  • Background in financial/multi-dimensional modeling, analytics or business intelligence
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in implementing Performance Management Solutions using Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, SAP EPM, IBM TM1/Cognos, Tableau, or similar technologies
  • Prior experience in a project team environment using structured methodologies for gathering business requirements, business processes, data conversions and system interfaces
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem‐solving skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Management and Technology, Engineering or related field and equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with Consolidation/Financial Reporting, Sales Performance Management, Supply Chain, Management Reporting, or Enterprise Operational Planning
  • Prior experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) like Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) – SQL, ANSI SQL, MySQL, PL/SQL in Oracle, PartiQL in AWS, SAS
  • Prior experience in business development and providing sales support including contribution to RFPs and conducting demo sessions for prospective clients
  • Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of a larger engagement
  • Familiarity with Sales Performance Management solutions
  • Prior experience with leading ETL tools (Informatica, SnapLogic, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI))
  • Anaplan Certification such as Master Anaplanner or Anaplan Solution Architect
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (preferred)
