About the role
- Define and implement data governance policies, processes, and workflows in SAP.
- Oversee creation, modification, and validation of master data across domains.
- Ensure data quality by eliminating duplicates, correcting inconsistencies, and monitoring compliance.
- Lead and mentor the Master Data Management (MDM) team.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align data governance with corporate strategy.
- Support SAP implementation and enhancement projects, particularly in Master Data Governance (MDG) modules.
- Establish controls, reporting, and audit mechanisms for master data lifecycle management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing master data in SAP environments.
- Strong expertise in SAP MDG and related data governance frameworks.
- Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, and finance processes.
- Proven track record in project and team leadership.
- Strong communication skills to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
- Expertise in data quality, data governance, and information security.
- Fluent in English
- Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
