About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with warm prospective student leads via phone, email, chat and other communication channels
- Build rapport and establish positive relationships with prospective students
- Identify student needs and provide relevant information on postgraduate programs and study options
- Qualify prospective students against program eligibility and sales criteria
- Manage and prioritise an assigned lead pipeline, ensuring timely and consistent follow-up
- Progress qualified prospects through the sales process, including scheduling appointments with Sales/Enrolment team members
- Support students through eligibility checks, application enquiries and enrolment
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales/Enrolment teams to improve lead quality, conversion and the overall student experience
- Work towards agreed individual and team KPIs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, contact centre, retail, hospitality, education or another customer-facing environment; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence engaging with people over the phone and through digital channels
- Strong listening and questioning skills, with the ability to uncover underlying needs and motivations
- Curious and consultative approach to conversations
- Motivation to work towards individual and team targets and KPIs in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups
- Willingness to learn, develop and respond positively to coaching and feedback
- Mandarin language skills are desirable but not essential
- Preferred applicants may be required to complete a police check and other pre-employment checks
