About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and operationalize AI-powered solutions that become part of our core software platforms.
- Help define how AI creates value for our customers and shape the standards, tooling, and practices that will support Keylane's AI journey for years to come.
- Work with teams across the organization to identify opportunities, deliver solutions, and help establish best practices.
- Serve as Keylane's AI specialist in customer conversations, assisting customers in exploring AI opportunities.
- Translate customer needs into practical solutions that can be embedded within software platforms.
- Collaborate with product teams, software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to turn ideas into scalable AI capabilities.
- Help establish practices needed to operate AI reliably and responsibly, including evaluation, monitoring, testing, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to machine learning initiatives such as predictive modelling, anomaly detection, and intelligent document processing.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 4 years of experience in Applied AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, including hands-on experience delivering AI-powered solutions in production environments;
- Strong Python development skills;
- Experience working with modern AI frameworks, building AI-powered applications and agents, and applying model fine-tuning techniques such as instruction tuning, LoRA, or QLoRA;
- Experience operationalizing AI solutions, including prompt management, evaluation, monitoring, testing, and continuous improvement in production environments;
- A solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including model evaluation, feature engineering, and statistical concepts;
- Experience working with data, including SQL and data preparation techniques;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Confidence presenting ideas, discussing solutions with customers, and translating business challenges into technical opportunities;
- A proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- It would be great if you also have experience with Microsoft Azure AI services, model fine-tuning techniques, document intelligence solutions, MLOps practices, or AI platforms and tooling. Experience within the insurance or pension industry, or another highly regulated environment, is considered a plus.

Comp & perks- A monthly gross salary between €5.200 and €7.500 based on 40 hours per week;
