Outbound Sales Development Representative – SaaS/IoT
KeycafeOutbound Sales Development Representative reaching out to potential customers for Keycafe's SaaS/IoT product. Engaging prospects in the US and Canada, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for Account Executives.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively reach out to targeted prospects via outbound calls, emails, and multi-channel outreach.
- Qualify leads, understand pain points, and schedule high-quality meetings for Account Executives.
- Manage and nurture early-stage opportunities from first contact through handoff.
- Clearly articulate Keycafe’s SmartBox value proposition and how it solves operational challenges.
- Consistently meet and exceed weekly/monthly outreach and booking quotas.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and lead notes in CRM systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as an SDR or in an outbound sales role.
- Excellent spoken and written English with minimal accent.
- Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed measurable sales targets.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Tech-savvy, curious about innovative B2B solutions, and quick to learn new tools.
- Nice to Have: Experience in SaaS, B2B, or lead-generation environments.
- Exposure to North American markets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and outbound sequencing tools.
