About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Associates on the Public Finance team are strong individual contributors in the areas of analyzing, structuring, and executing transactions.
- Responsible for performing industry research and preparing pitches, management presentations, and other written materials.
- Strong working knowledge and skills in analyzing, structuring, and executing transactions with a focus on technical analysis.
- Actively participate in client planning sessions, research and analyze data, prepare and present analytical information.
- Managing and executing tasks encompassing comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analyses.
- Possess a deep understanding of the financial impact of decisions on the client’s organization.
- Partnering with sales/product team members, responsible for performing industry research, preparing pitch, management presentations, and other written materials using analytical skills.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required)
- 1+ years of investment banking experience (preferred)
- FINRA License S79 within 1-1/2 Yrs (required)
- FINRA License S63 within 1-1/2 Yrs (required)
- FINRA License S52 within 1-1/2 Yrs (required)
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Applies investment banking principles to structure and execute public finance transactions
- Supports clients with financial insights and recommendations
- Assists in structuring and executing municipal and infrastructure debt deals
- Understands financing mechanisms for public infrastructure projects
