About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Managing all aspects of the NAFS portfolio of tribal clients
Underwriting loans and other credit products for complex tribal governments
Working with legal counsel to review and structure loan documentation
Ongoing credit monitoring and analysis, and covenant compliance
Monitoring individual clients and portfolio trends
Actively communicating with tribal and enterprise CFO's, and legal teams
Performing financial analysis and preparing underwriting documents to support complex, multimillion-dollar corporate credit requests

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 7 years of experience with commercial underwriting, credit, banking and/or financial services experience (required)
Excellent client relationship skills.
Proficient in structuring meaningful and appropriate financial covenants for syndicated debt facilities (required)
Strong competence in financial analysis and modeling (required)
Strong ability to gather relevant research, analyze data, and concisely synthesize large amounts of information in order to accurately assess corporate creditworthiness and create a detailed and thorough underwriting package (required)
Experience managing the left lead /administrative agent role in complex syndicated deals (required)
