About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Director of Liquidity and Liquidity team in Corporate Treasury to execute liquidity stress testing, risk identification, liquidity metrics monitoring, and reporting activities
- Conduct analysis for monthly internal liquidity stress testing (ILST) and perform independent control checks to ensure the accuracy of results
- Develop and maintain analytical framework and periodic updates to the key ILST assumptions
- Drive stress testing enhancements and prepare materials for the ILST Change Management governance framework
- Prepare liquidity dashboard and other metrics for governance committees and stakeholders
- Assist with the quarterly risk identification process with the line of business partners
- Coordinate with business partners to gather data for ILST and identify optimal tools to source data and perform ILST calculations
- Collaborate with Corporate Treasury and FP&A teams to analyze and report on forecasted liquidity position and metrics
- Collaborate with Corporate Treasury Oversight (CTO, second line of defense) and Internal Audit (third line of defense) to maintain proper oversight and governance of liquidity-related risks
- Maintain solid documentation and effective control environment to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and regulatory standards
- Assist with regulatory exams related to liquidity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience required
- 1-3 years of liquidity experience at a bank, regulated financial institution or consulting experience
- Demonstrates strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills including experience with advanced Excel modeling
- Possesses working knowledge of industry best practices and liquidity-related regulations
- Displays strong verbal and presentation skills
- Exhibits team-orientation and a curiosity to learn
- Demonstrates aptitude and interest in programming and other advanced analytical skills (e.g., Python, R, Stata, VBA etc.) to analyze data and automate processes
