Senior Research Analyst
KeyBankSenior Research Analyst conducting financial analysis of capital markets and providing investment guidance. Responsible for ongoing investment surveillance and partnership with trading desks.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Financial analysis of capital markets.
- Identify relative value in the markets and provide investment guidance.
- Establish a network of professional contacts in sector assignments.
- Provide ongoing surveillance for all investments assigned by Senior Management.
- Conduct due diligence before executing investments.
- Gain understanding of GAAP and GASB or Statutory accounting practices.
- Participate in calls with sell-side analysts and presentations.
- Prepare financial forecasts, comparable company analyses, and valuation models.
- Produce timely research on specific companies and sector-related matters.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a minimum of 4 Years of relevant investment experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, S&P CAP IQ, SNL.
- Strong communication skills that relate to oral presentation and written reports.
- Ability to work independently in support of various investment strategies.
- A commitment to learning and developing relationships that support department objectives and goals.
