About the role
- Leads one or more projects in a fast-paced environment
- Develops and grows partnerships with senior functional managers
- Supports business case development and administers project pipeline checkpoints
- Defines and manages project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables
- Develops integrated project plan and tracks/reports project milestones
- Estimates resources needed for project goals and manages vendor performance
- Drafts and submits project budget proposals and conducts cost forecasting
- Identifies, tracks, escalates and resolves issue conflicts
- Manages documentation and the knowledge transfer to business as usual functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- PMI certification required
- Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry a plus
- Minimum five years of increasingly complex project related experience required
- Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving and conflict management skills
- Organized, self-disciplined, leads others towards common outcomes and execution
