About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Marketing Communications team in the creation of video and motion graphic content
  • Assist with filming, editing, and animating content for various platforms
  • Complete a culminating video or motion design project
  • Assist with video production activities including filming, lighting setup, and audio capture
  • Support creation of motion graphics and animations and develop storyboards and animation concepts
  • Edit video content for short-form videos, presentations, and digital assets
  • Present internship project results and findings to the Marketing team and Kestra executive leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2nd year or higher undergraduate in a fine arts/arts/science in design or related field
  • One to three years of motion design work experience
  • Attention to detail with a strong working knowledge of design-related applications, techniques, and styles
  • Ability to articulate creative ideas in verbal and written communication
  • Focused creative thinking, while multi-tasking on several projects and overlapping deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Advanced knowledge of video shooting, editing, color correction, and compositing
  • Advanced knowledge of videography equipment
  • Working knowledge of 2D and 3D animation
  • Internship eligibility: Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university or graduated within last 6 months
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment with Kestra Medical Technologies
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must complete a criminal and employment background screening that meets the allowable FDA requirements and is in accordance with EEOC rules and regulations
  • Must complete a pre-internship drug screen
