About the role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global strategy for trade compliance across the Radioligand Therapy (RLT) platform
- Define standards and policies to cover all relevant import and export laws and regulations for all RLT TechOps sites producing commercial and non-commercial materials
- Support and implement standards, assess risks, communicate, monitor, and train the Customs and Trade Compliance (CTC) community (Regional and Local)
- Identify areas to streamline the importation and distribution of RLT products and implement opportunities for cost savings within the network
- Create and implement a global trade strategy for export and import control processes for the RLT platform
- Define and maintain up-to-date information on Global Standards, Policies and Training documents for customs and trade according to legal regulation; implement and conduct periodic training to the CTC community in the region
- Ensure the Center of Excellence operates according to management expectations, bring efficiency across the network and provide correct and reliable master data
- Drive the direction, design and content of the import/export control systems for a single solution to support the operation within the local country as CPO/Affiliate, Principal or Production Site
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Order Management, Legal, Funds-flow, Tax, Supply Chain Setup, regional SCM, cross division) to achieve business objectives efficiently and effectively, especially on new business setup, merger and acquisitions, and business development & licensing
- Manage the governance of customs and trade compliance, provide guidance and serve as subject matter expert managing government disclosures and audits
- Develop and implement global trade compliance programs including trade policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance/Tax, and local markets to satisfy end-to-end trade compliance requirements
Requirements
- Undergraduate or 4-year degree, preferably in International Trade, Business Administration or Law
- Advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in an operational customs and trade role with local or regional responsibility in EU, North America, Asia, etc.
- Global responsibility in multi-national organizations preferred
- Pharmaceutical, Health Care, Consumer Goods, Chemical or other process industry experience preferred
- English fluency is required, 2nd language is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 10%
